I pieced this firefighter’s quilt by using a panel with borders. I used the borders as a frame around the panel and did hand-guided edge to edge quilting in the borders. The panel was highlighted be free motion echo stitching and free motions swirls. I also put the person’s name and ranking in by machine stitching.
